Connecting Google Merchant Center to Your Online Store

Connect Google Merchant Center

Before you start, ensure you have a Google Merchant Center account associated with your Google account. If you need to create one, you can sign up for one here.

Step-by-Step Guideline:

Step 1: Log in to BurgerShop Admin

  • Go to your BurgerShop Admin panel.
  • Navigate to ‘App’.

Step 2: Access Google Shopping

  • Click on ‘Google Shopping’

Step 3: Select Store and Sign in

  • On the Google Shopping page, select the store you want to connect.
  • Click ‘ Sign in with Google

Step 4: Sign In to Google

  • In the pop-up window, sign in to your Google account. 

Step 5: Confirm Connection

  • Click ‘Continue’
  • Your store is now connected Google Merchant Center.

Step 6: Complete Store Approval Checklist

Before connecting your Merchant Center account, ensure your store meets Google’s requirements:

  • Add a Custom Domain: This increases trust in your store.
  • Add and Activate a Valid Payment Provider.
  • Policy Pages: Add the following policies to your footer navigation menu:
    • Refund Policy
    • Shipping Policy
    • Privacy Policy
    • Terms of Services

  •  Contact Methods: Ensure you have at least two contact methods listed on your online store.

Following these steps, you can successfully connect your Google Merchant Center account to your online store, enhancing your product visibility and trustworthiness.
