Display estimated delivery date on your store
As an online merchant, it’s crucial to keep your customers informed about delivery times, helping them make well-informed purchasing decisions. In this article, we’ll guide you through the straightforward process of displaying the delivery date on your store, ensuring your customers have all the information they need.
1- What is estimated delivery date?
The estimated delivery time is the date and time at which a shipment is expected to arrive at its final destination. It can be calculated using the formula:
Estimated delivery days = Today’s date + Shipping days + Delivery days.
- Shipping days: The time it is estimated to ship goods
- Delivery days: The time it is expected to get goods
For example, if an item’s shipping days are 3 – 5 days, and the delivery days are typically 5 – 7 days, the estimated days to get goods should be 8 – 12 days from today.
2. How to display estimated delivery date on my store?
Step-by-Step Guideline:
Step 1: Access Smart Sell in BurgerShop Admin
- Login to BurgerShop admin
- Navigate to App > Estimate Delivery > Add Estimate
Step 2: Set Up Estimate Delivery
- Enter the information
- Click Save
Note:
- Order place day is today
- Order deliver days = today + order ship days
The result is displayed
