Customize Collection Page and Product Filters

Customizing your collection and search filters in BurgerShop allows customers to quickly find products based on availability, price, color, and more on the collection page. Follow this guide to display filters on your store.

Step-by-Step Guideline:

Step 1: Access Theme Customization

  • From your BurgerShop admin site, go to Online Store > Themes > Custom Theme.
  • From the page selector at the top, select Collection detail.

Step 2: Customize the Collection Banner

In the Banner section, you can customize how the collection header appears on your store.

Background

Choose one of the following options:

  • None: Display the collection banner without a background.
  • Color: Apply a background color to the collection banner.
  • Image: Use an image as the collection banner background.

Text Position

Choose how the collection title and description are positioned:

  • Left: Align the content to the left.
  • Center: Align the content to the center.

This allows you to adjust the collection header to better match your store design.

Step 3: Choose Product Filters

Under Filter, select the filter types you want customers to use when browsing a collection.

Available filters may include:

  • Option 1
  • Option 2
  • Option 3
  • Genders
  • Price

Check a filter to display it on the collection page, or uncheck it to hide it.

Step 4: Choose the Filter Position

Under Filter position, choose where the filters appear on the collection page:

  • Left sidebar: Display filters vertically beside the product list.

  • On top: Display filters above the product list.

Choose the position that works best with your collection layout and the number of filters you use.

Step 5: Configure Layout Mode

Turn Show layout mode on or off.

  • Enabled: Customers can use the available layout controls to change how products are displayed.
  • Disabled: The layout-switching controls are hidden.

This setting allows you to control whether customers can switch between the available product viewing layouts.

Step 6: Save Changes

  • Click Save in the upper-right corner to save your settings.
  • Once you are satisfied with the result, publish the theme when needed.

Your collection pages will now display the selected banner, filters, and layout settings, helping customers browse and find relevant products more easily. The purpose is consistent with BurgerShop’s existing collection filtering feature, which is designed to make product discovery easier on collection pages.
