Setting Custom Shipping Rates for Your BurgerShop Stores

Do you need to set up shipping rates for your BurgerShop store? Here’s a simple guide to help you customize your rates using either regular mail or a fulfillment service. 

How to Determine Shipping Charges

If you’re unsure about shipping costs, consult postal services for advice on delivery costs based on size and weight. Remember to add any handling or packaging costs to your shipping fee.

Setting Up Manual Shipping Rates

Step 1: Access Shipping Settings

  • From your BurgerShop Admin account, go to Store Channel > Shipping.

Step 2: Enable Custom Shipping Rates

  • Toggle the option to Enable Custom Shipping Rates.

Step 3: Manage Shipping Rates

  • Click Manage Shipping Rates

Step 4: Create a Shipping Zone

  • Click Create Zone
  • In the popup, enter the Zone Name and select the countries for this zone. Click Done.

Step 5: Add A Shipping Rate

  • Add Rate.
  • In the popup, fill in the details for the checkout display:
    • Shipping Method: Enter the name of the shipping method;
    • Rate: Enter the cost of shipping.
    • Rate Based On: Specify the conditions for applying the shipping rate (e.g, weight, order, value)

To set up custom shipping rates, first enable the Custom shipping rate option. Next, click on “Manage shipping rate” to access the shipping settings. Then, click “Create Zone” to define the specific shipping zones where the custom rates will apply.

In the “Create New Shipping Zone” popup, enter the desired zone name and select the country for which you want to set up shipping. Once done, click “Done” to confirm. Next, click “Add Rate” to specify the shipping rates for the newly created zone.

In the “Add Rate” popup, enter the necessary information that will be displayed during checkout for customers in this zone. This includes the shipping method, rate, and any conditions for applying the shipping rates. Once completed, click “Save” to finalize the shipping rate for the zone.

In the “Add Rate” popup, specify the shipping method, enter the shipping cost, and define the conditions for applying shipping rates. Once all the necessary information is entered, click “Save” to finalize the shipping rate for the selected zone.

By following these steps, you can easily set up custom shipping rates for your BurgerShop store ensuring a seamless delivery experience for your customers.
