The menu is an essential website component responsible for displaying the content categories and aiding in navigation. It helps visitors easily find and categorize topics within the page. BurgerShop stores come with three default built-in menus:
- Header: This is displayed on every store page, usually along the header. Items can be presented as drop-down menus with submenus inside.
- Information & Company: Includes webpages with information such as FAQs, contacts, and policies.
In addition to these menus, you can create, customize, and delete more menus as needed. This article will guide you on how to add a menu to your store:
Step-by-Step Guideline:
Step 1: Access Navigation Settings
- From your BurgerShop admin, go to Store channel > Navigation and click Create menu.
Step 2: Enter Menu Title
- In the Title field, enter the name for your new menu.
Step 3: Add Menu Items
- Click Add Item to start adding items to your menu.
- In the Link field, choose the appropriate link for the menu item.
- Enter the title for the item in the Name field.
Step 4: Save the Menu
- Once you have added all the items, click Save to create the new menu.
Following these steps, you can easily add and customize menus in your BurgerShop store, enhancing navigation and improving the user experience.
