Verifying Your BurgerShop Website on Google Merchant Center
Step-by-Step Guideline
A. Confirm the Website URL in the Google Merchant Center
Step 1: Sign in to Your Merchant Center Account
- Go to the Google Merchant Center login page and sign in with your account.
Step 2: Access Business Information
- On the navigation panel on the left, click ‘Business Information’.

Step 3: Enter Website URL
- Select the ‘Website’ section.
- Enter your website URL in the ‘Your website address’ field.
- Click ‘Continue’.

Step 4: Verify Your Website
- Under the ‘Verify your website’ section, Google will display three ways to verify website links. Select one of the three methods:

- Add an HTML Tag or Upload an HTML File
- Add an HTML Tag
- Select ‘Add an HTML tag’.
- Click to copy the code provided by Google.
- Add an HTML Tag

- On BurgerShop Admin:
- Go to ‘Online Store’ > ‘Preferences’ > ‘Scripts in Header’.
- Paste the copied code into the section.
- Click ‘Save’.

- Verify
- Return to the verification page on Google Merchant Center.
- Click ‘Verify Website’.

- Verify with Google Tag Manager
- Admin Access
- Ensure you are an admin in the Google Tag Maanger account.
- Take the container ID as guided by Google.
- On BurgerShop Admin
- Go to ‘Online Store’ > ‘Preferences’ > ‘Scripts in Header’.
- Paste the container ID code into the section.
- Click ‘Save’.
- Admin Access

- Verify
- Return to the verification page on Google Merchant Center.
- Click ‘Verify Website’.

- Verify with Google Analytics
- Admin Access
- Ensure you are an admin of the Google Analytics account.
- Activate and link Google Analytics to your website as guided by Google.
- Link Google Analytics
- After linking Google Analytics to your BurgerShop store, follow the instructions provided in this article.
- Admin Access
- Verify
- Return to the verification page on Google Merchant Center.
- Click ‘Verify Website’.
