Step-by-Step Guideline

Step 1: Enable the Timer Bar App

• From your BurgerShop admin, go to Apps > Cart Timer & Urgency Upsell.
• Toggle the switch to Enable the app.

Step 2: Set Up the Timer for Cart and Checkout Pages

The app allows separate settings for:

• Cart Page

• Checkout page

Step 3: Customize the Message

• Add a custom message that includes {timer} to display the countdown dynamically.

Example:

⏳ Hurry! Your cart will expire in {timer} minutes!

Step 4: Configure Countdown Duration

• Enter a countdown time between 1 to 120 minutes.
• Choose what happens when the timer ends:
  • Repeat the countdown
  • Hide the bar
  • Keep the last message

Step 5: Style the Timer Bar

• Customize background color, border, spacing, text font & color to match your brand.
• Live Preview is available on the right side for easy visualization.

Notes:

• The timer will only show if the app is enabled and the toggle for the specific page (Cart/Checkout) is turned ON.
• Using emojis and bold text in the message helps grab attention and boosts urgency.
• Ideal timer duration is 5–15 minutes to create pressure without frustrating users.
