Creating Product Recommendation (In cart suggestion, Product recommendation, Post purchase recommendation)

Product Recommendation is a feature that helps increase cart value by suggesting relevant products to customers based on their browsing behavior, product views, and sales data. Follow this step-by-step guide to configure product recommendations effectively in your BurgerShop store.

Step-by-Step Guideline

Step 1: Access Smart Sell in BurgerShop Admin

• Log in to your BurgerShop admin.
• Navigate to App > Smart Sell.
• Click Upsell & Cross Sell.

Step 2: Enable Product Recommendation

Scroll down to the Product Recommendation section.Choose Auto or Manual recommendation:

• Auto: Automatically suggests products based on predefined rules.
• Manual: Manually select recommended products for specific items.

For Auto Product Recommendations

• Configure the recommendation types:
  • In Cart Suggestion: Suggest an additional product based on what’s in the cart.
  • In Cart Recommendation: Recommend related products based on the selected product in the cart.
  • Product Page Recommendation: Show related products on the product detail page.
  • Post-Purchase Recommendation: Suggest products on the Thank You page after checkout.

• Set the Discount Value (optional) to offer incentives.
• Adjust Display Settings:
  • Max products per row
  • Limit total recommended products
  • Enable Slideshow if you want carousel-style product recommendations.

For Manual Product Recommendations

• Select a product and manually assign related products

Step 3: Modify Recommendation Titles

• Scroll to Change Default Title
• Customize the titles displayed on different pages:
  • Product Page Title ( You may also like)
  • Cart Page Title (Complete your order with these)
  • Thank You Page Title (You might love these too)

Step 4: Save Changes

After setting up product recommendations, ensure you save all changes to activate them on your store.
