Connect Google Shopping App to Google Merchant Center
The Google Shopping app helps you connect your BurgerShop store with Google Merchant Center so you can sync product data, manage product feeds, and prepare your products for Google Shopping.
After the connection is completed, BurgerShop can help sync your product catalog to Google Merchant Center and support feed management from your BurgerShop admin.
Note
Before connecting, make sure you already have a Google Merchant Center account and the Google account you use has permission to manage that account

Before you start
Before connecting Google Shopping to BurgerShop, make sure you have:
- A Google Merchant Center account
- A verified website domain in your Google Merchant Center account
- At least one active product in your BurgerShop store
- Scaning audit to make sure your website match Google’s standard
- A Google account with permission to manage your Merchant Center account
Tip
If your Google Merchant Center account is not ready yet, create or complete it first before connecting the app in BurgerShop.
Step 1: Enable the Google Shopping app
First, turn on the Google Shopping app in your BurgerShop admin.
Steps:
- Log in to your BurgerShop admin.
- From the left sidebar, go to Apps.
- Find Google Shopping.
- Turn on the app toggle.
- In the confirmation popup, click Yes.
After activation, the Google Shopping app will be available for setup.

Step 2: Open the Google Shopping app
After enabling the app, open it to start the connection process.
Steps:
- Go to Apps.
- Click Google Shopping.
- The Google Shopping app page will open.
- Go to Account Connection.
On this page, you can start connecting your store with Google Merchant Center

Step 3: Connect Google Merchant Center
In the Account Connection section, click the connection button.
Steps:
- Open Google Shopping > Account Connection.
- Click Connect Google Merchant Center.
- A Google sign-in window will open.
Note
If the Google sign-in window does not open, check whether your browser is blocking popups.
Step 4: Choose your Google account
Google will ask you to choose the account you want to use.
Steps:
- Select the Google account connected to your Merchant Center account.
- If the correct account is not listed, click Use another account.
- Continue to the permission screen.
Important
Use the Google account that has access to the correct Google Merchant Center account. If you choose the wrong account, BurgerShop may not be able to connect or sync products correctly.
Step 5: Allow access permissions
Google will ask you to allow BurgerShop to access required Google Merchant Center permissions.
Steps:
- Review the permission request.
- Confirm that you trust the connection.
- Click Continue.
The permission allows BurgerShop to manage product listings and connect with your Google Merchant Center account for feed synchronization.
Note
The permission screen may display the connected app name used by BurgerShop’s integration. Make sure you are connecting from your BurgerShop admin before approving access.
Step 6: Complete the connection
After you approve permissions, Google will redirect you back to BurgerShop.
Steps:
- Wait for the connection process to complete.
- Return to the Google Shopping app in BurgerShop.
- Confirm that your Google Merchant Center account is connected.
- Review feed settings if available.
Once connected, you can continue setting up product feed sync and other Google Shopping settings

After your Google Merchant Center account is connected, review the other Google Shopping app sections.
