Add Social Media Links to Your Store

The Social media setting lets you add your store’s social media profiles to your storefront. These links can help customers find your brand on other channels and build more trust with your store.

In BurgerShop Theme Editor, you can add links for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Tumblr, and Twitter.

Note
Adding social media links in General setting > Social media stores the social profile URLs for your theme. To display social icons on the storefront, you may also need to enable social icons inside the footer section.

Access Social media settings

You can manage social media links from the Theme Editor.

Steps:

1. Log in to your BurgerShop admin.
2. Go to Online store.
3. Select Themes.
4. Open the theme you want to edit.
5. Click Customize.
6. In the left sidebar, click General setting.
7. Select Social media.

From this section, you can enter the URLs for your store’s social media profiles

Add social media links

To add a social media profile, paste the full URL into the matching field.

Steps:

1. Go to General setting > Social media.
2. Find the social media platform you want to add.
3. Paste your profile URL into the field.
4. Repeat this for each social media platform you want to display.
5. Click Save

Supported social media platforms

BurgerShop supports social media links for the following platforms:

Show social icons in the footer

After adding social media links, you may need to enable social icons in the footer so they appear on your storefront.

Steps:

1. In the Theme Editor, click Sections.
2. Scroll to Footer.
3. Click Footer.
4. Open the footer section where you want to display social icons, such as GET HELP.
5. Find Show social icons.
6. Turn the toggle on.
7. Review the footer preview.
8. Click Save.

When this option is enabled, the social media icons connected to your saved social links can display in the footer area.

Save and publish changes

After adding social media links and enabling social icons, save your theme changes.

Steps:

1. Click Save in the top-right corner.
2. Review the storefront preview.
3. Click Publish if you want to apply the changes to your live theme.

Note
If your theme is already live, saving changes may update the live storefront depending on your store setup
