How to Add a Menu to Your BurgerShop Store
A well-organized menu is a crucial component of any website, as it helps visitors navigate your content and quickly find the information they need. In a BurgerShop store, the menu serves to display content categories and enhance user navigation. BurgerShop stores come with three default built-in menus:
- Header: Displayed at the top of every store page, this menu typically contains links that can be presented as drop-down menus with submenus.
- Information & Company: Contains webpages with essential information, such as FAQs, contact details, and policies.
In addition to these default menus, you have the flexibility to create, customize, and delete additional menus as needed to suit your store’s specific requirements. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add a new menu to your store:
Step-by-Step Guideline:
Step 1: Access Navigation Settings
- Log in to your BurgerShop admin site.
- Navigate to Store channel > Navigation.
- Click on the Create menu to start the process.
Step 2: Enter Menu Title
- In the Title field, enter the name for your new menu. This title will help you identify the menu and its purpose.
Step 3: Add Menu Items
- Click on Add Item to begin adding links to your menu.
- In the Link field, select the appropriate destination or webpage that each menu item will link to (e.g., Home, Collections, Products, About Us).
- Enter a name for each menu item in the Name field, which will be displayed on your store.
Step 4: Save the Menu
- After you have added all desired items to your menu, click Save to create your new menu.
By following these steps, you can effortlessly add and customize menus in your BurgerShop store, helping to improve site navigation and enhance the overall user experience.
