Copying a Theme to Another Store
Themes and navigation are crucial for attracting customers and helping visitors easily find products and collections. BurgerShop provides pre-made themes for new stores based on your business type (dropshipping, print-on-demand).
You can customize these themes to make them unique and appealing to your target audience. If you have multiple stores, copying a theme from one to another can save time and ensure consistency. Follow these steps to copy a theme to another store efficiently.
Step-by-Step Guideline:
Step 1: Access Theme Code
- From your BurgerShop admin, go to the store with the theme you want to copy.
- Navigate to Online Stores > Themes > Get Code.
- Each theme has a unique theme ID in the Get Code section.
Step 2: Copy the Theme ID
- Copy the theme ID from the Get Code section.
Step 3: Go to the Target Store
- Go to the target store where you want to copy the theme.
- Under the Add Themes section, click Import by Code.
Step 4: Import the Theme by Code
- In the Copy a Theme popup, enter the theme ID you copied in Step 2.
- Click Copy.
Step 5: Customize and Publish the Theme
- The copied theme will appear in your theme list once the process is complete.
- Click Customize to edit the theme or Actions > Publish to make the theme live.
- You can also preview, rename, duplicate, or remove the theme as needed.
Note:
- Navigations, Collections, and Products cannot be copied. You will need to set them up manually.
By following these steps, you can easily copy a theme from one store to another, saving time and maintaining a consistent look across your BurgerShop stores.
