Connecting a Third-Party Domain to BurgerShop
If you already have a domain available, you can connect it to BurgerShop. Follow these steps to connect your third-party domain.
Conditions: The domain needs to be managed on Cloudflare. If you manage your domain on another platform, transfer management permission to Cloudflare using the below instructions.
Step-by-Step Guideline
Transfer Domain Management to Cloudflare (if not already done)
- Create a Cloudflare Account
- Sign up for an account on Cloudflare.
- Add Your Domain to Cloudflare
- Enter your domain name on Cloudflare to start the transfer process.
- Change Nameservers to Cloudflare
- Copy the nameservers provided by Cloudflare.
- Log in to your third-party domain registrar (e.g., Namecheap).
- Replace the default nameservers with the nameservers provided by Cloudflare.
- Save the changes.
- Wait for Cloudflare Verification
- After updating the nameservers, wait for Cloudflare to verify the changes. This process usually takes 1-2 hours. If it takes longer, contact Cloudflare support for assistance.
Connect Your Domain to BurgerShop
Step 1: Log in to BurgerShop Admin
- Go to Settings > Domain > Connect Existing Domain.
Step 2: Enter Your Domain
- In the Connect Existing Domain popup, enter the domain you need to connect and click the Add button.
Step 3: Verify the Connection
- Click Verify Connection to complete the connection process.
