Migrate from WooCommerce to BurgerShop
This guide explains how to migrate your store from WooCommerce to BurgerShop. You can use this article as a checklist to move your store data, review your imported content, and complete the key setup tasks before launching your BurgerShop store.
Unlike some platforms that require sellers to edit or remap the WooCommerce export template before importing, BurgerShop allows you to export your file from WooCommerce and import it directly into BurgerShop.

Shipping
Set up your shipping areas, delivery methods, shipping fees, and fulfillment process. Review your shipping settings carefully to avoid undercharging or overcharging customers.
Taxes
Configure tax settings based on your business location and the regions where you sell. If you are unsure which tax settings apply to your store, consult a tax professional.
Payments
Set up your payment methods so customers can complete checkout successfully. After enabling payment options, review your checkout settings and store policies.

Before launching your store, place test orders to make sure the checkout flow works correctly.
You should test:

- Refund or cancellation
- Fulfillment process
- Customer notification emails
Testing helps you understand the customer experience and identify any issues before real customers place orders.
Step 9: Set up your domain
If you already have a domain for your WooCommerce store, you can connect or transfer it to your BurgerShop store.
Before updating your domain settings, you need to transfer domain’s permisstion from 3rd party to Coulfare
After the domain is connected, check that your storefront loads correctly and that important pages are accessible.
Step 10: Review SEO settings
To help maintain search visibility after migration, review your SEO settings before launching your BurgerShop store.
You should check:
- Product page titles
- Meta descriptions
- Collection or category URLs
- Important page URLs
- Redirects from old WooCommerce pages
All BurgerShop stores automatically generate a sitemap.xml file that contains links to all your products, primary product image, pages, collections, and blog posts. This file is used by search engines such as Google and Bing to index your site so that your store’s pages display in search results.
Submitting your sitemap files to Google Search Console helps Google find and index pages on your site
Next steps
After completing the migration, review your store from the customer’s perspective. Make sure products display correctly, checkout works as expected, and your store settings are ready for launch.
